PREMIERSHIP side Chicken Inn have completed the acquisition of Brian Muza from Zifa Southern Region Division One side Talen Vision.
Muza who was a key player for Talen Vision last season, was the division’s second top goal scorer bagging 14 goals, one shy of the eventual golden boot winner, Grey Kufandada. Last season Chicken Inn’s strike force was found wanting after the departure of Clive Augusto for South Africa and Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas believes Muza’s qualities will help in filling the void left by Augusto last season.
“He’s an aggressive striker, very quick and he’s got the power and those are his attributes we saw and we decided to go for him. He’s in the mould of Obriel Chirinda who’s also very quick and powerful, so it will be interesting to have two players more or less the same type of style,” said Antipas.
His fine form throughout the season for Talen Vision did not go unnoticed earning him a place in the Southern Region Division’s best eleven team. Muza was also named the Player’s Player of the year and walked away with the Most Disciplined Player accolade at his own club’s awards ceremony.
